- • As a Platform Security Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will help protect the company and its customers from advanced threats by securing the product platform through proactive threat detection, incident response, and security system improvements.
- • Day to day, you will investigate security and engineering issues of varying scale, conduct response and recovery across complex systems, assess system security postures, advocate for security best practices within engineering teams, and partner cross-functionally to design and implement security and data enhancement projects.
- • You will join CrowdStrike’s Product Security team, a mission-driven group focused on active threats to the company’s AI-native cybersecurity platform, operating within a culture that values innovation, customer obsession, and employee autonomy.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise security, incident response at scale, and cloud-native systems while contributing to the protection of a global leader in cybersecurity and advancing your technical impact in a high-stakes environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong security acumen and experience solving complex engineering issues
- • Applicable experience in security engineering, implementing and supporting security systems in enterprise and production environments
- • Experience in incident response, preferably focused on SaaS platforms and data
- • Strong analytical, data-focused mindset for solving complex multi-system engineering projects
- • Experience working with Linux and/or other Unix-like variants
- • Scripting capabilities in shell, Python, Perl, Ruby, or other automation systems
- • Protocol knowledge of TCP/IP, HTTP, applied cryptography, and related technologies
- • Familiarity with IDS and SIEM systems such as Falcon LogScale, Bro, Suricata, Splunk, or ELK stack
- • Experience supporting production systems at multi-TB scale
- • Knowledge of cloud platforms and highly concurrent systems like CI/CD pipelines
