  • • As a Podcast Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing the entire lifecycle of podcast episode production, from initial concept to final distribution. Your primary objective will be to ensure a consistently smooth and engaging experience for both our esteemed guests and our valued clients, who serve as the hosts of these podcasts. You will be responsible for crafting episodes that not only resonate with our clients' target audiences but also leave a lasting positive impression on every guest who participates.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a wide range of critical tasks. You will be the primary point of contact for initial outreach, meticulously responding to inquiries and providing clear, comprehensive answers to guest questions to secure their enthusiastic participation in our shows. This involves building rapport and ensuring guests feel well-informed and valued from the outset.
  • • A significant aspect of your role will involve acting as a central coordinator, facilitating seamless communication and collaboration between guests and clients. This includes the meticulous creation of detailed preparation materials, thoughtfully curated question guides, and efficient scheduling to accommodate all parties involved. Your organizational prowess will be key to keeping projects on track and ensuring all stakeholders are aligned.
  • • You will work hand-in-hand with a talented cross-functional team. This collaborative effort includes close partnership with content writers to refine narratives and ensure editorial excellence, with editors to polish audio and ensure broadcast quality, with video producers to create engaging visual assets that complement the audio content, and with graphic designers to develop compelling cover art, social media graphics, and other visual collateral that enhances the podcast's brand identity and marketability.
  • • Your responsibilities extend to the technical aspects of podcast distribution. You will be tasked with expertly uploading finished podcast episodes to our designated hosting platform, ensuring all metadata is accurate and optimized for discoverability. Furthermore, you will manage the distribution process to major podcast directories such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts, and other relevant platforms, maximizing reach and accessibility for our clients' content.
  • • Beyond standard podcast platforms, you will also be responsible for uploading episodes directly to clients' websites and any other specified online channels. This ensures a comprehensive and integrated presence for each podcast, catering to diverse audience consumption habits and client-specific requirements.
  • • The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the podcasting landscape, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality output. You will be adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively, and maintaining clear, consistent communication throughout the production process. Your ability to anticipate needs and proactively address potential issues will be highly valued.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 3-5 years of experience in podcast production, management, or a related role within an agency or media production company.
  • • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to interact professionally and effectively with guests, clients, and internal teams on a daily basis via email and other communication channels.
  • • Strong administrative and organizational skills, including proficiency in project management, scheduling, and maintaining detailed records.
  • • A demonstrable passion for technology and an understanding of the B2B technology space.
  • • Experience with podcast editing software and audio production principles is a plus.
  • • Familiarity with podcast hosting platforms and distribution strategies across major directories.
