📋 Description

  • Independently prepare clear, substantive, and legally compliant responses to derechos de petición, PQRs, and acciones de tutela on a daily basis, ensuring all responses meet statutory deadlines without requesting extensions or relying on BPO services.
  • Provide comprehensive and timely attention to inquiries from regulatory bodies each month, strictly adhering to Colombian legal protocols and reinforcing Addi’s commitment to regulatory compliance.
  • Identify recurring trends and patterns in PQRs, acciones de tutela, and regulatory requests to recommend actionable improvements to internal control systems and operational processes.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the Legal team and cross-functional departments including Internal Control, Customer Service, Fraud Prevention, and Collections to align on compliance initiatives and implement process enhancements.
  • Maintain meticulously organized case files, track all response deadlines with precision, and document all actions to ensure readiness for potential legal scrutiny or audit.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases to the appropriate internal teams to ensure timely resolution and mitigate legal exposure.
  • Translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable steps for non-legal stakeholders to foster company-wide understanding and adherence to compliance standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with external counsel when necessary, coordinating communication and ensuring alignment on legal strategy and response protocols.
  • Apply a strong practical understanding of Colombian consumer protection laws, SFC regulations governing PQRS, Habeas Data (data privacy), and relevant civil/commercial procedures related to consumer disputes in all responses and recommendations.
  • Proactively identify systemic issues through data analysis of PQR trends, propose scalable solutions, and drive implementation without requiring constant oversight.
  • Ensure all communications—written and verbal—are accurate, professional, and customer-centric, prioritizing both compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain conversational English proficiency to effectively communicate with external advisors, international stakeholders, and global teams as needed.
  • Contribute to a culture of ownership and operational excellence by consistently delivering high-quality, deadline-driven work that supports Addi’s mission to redefine financial access in Colombia.

🎯 Requirements

  • Lawyer with at least 1 year of experience responding to PQRs and/or providing legal support in consumer-facing contexts, preferably in writing
  • Legal expertise in Colombian consumer protection laws, SFC regulations on PQRS, and Habeas Data (data privacy) laws
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deadlines with meticulous organization and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical rigor to identify trends in PQRs and regulatory requests and recommend process improvements
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in Spanish, with the ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, actionable language
  • Conversational English proficiency at a B1 level is desirable
