- • Praxis (Teacher Licensure) Exam Question Reviewer role involves reviewing and refining Praxis exam questions to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with official test standards, supporting teacher candidates in their licensure preparation.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing batches of exam questions, evaluating them against a checklist, making revisions for quality and exam relevance, submitting marked-up Google Docs with tracked changes, ensuring content accuracy and currency, adhering to Kaplan’s style guide, participating in content review cycles, rephrasing content for test-likeness, responding to queries within 2 business days, and meeting batch-specific timelines.
- • The role is part of Kaplan’s content development team, a remote and asynchronous contractor position contributing to high-quality Praxis preparation materials used by educators nationwide.
- • The reviewer will deepen their expertise in Praxis exam design, strengthen content editing and instructional design skills, gain experience in standardized test development, and contribute directly to improving teacher licensure readiness for thousands of candidates.
🎯 Requirements
- • Active Praxis teaching license or equivalent state educator certification or higher in the relevant field
- • Demonstrated deep understanding of official Praxis exam content, professional domain knowledge, and exam format
- • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- • Excellent written communication and editing skills
- • Proficiency in using Google Docs and Google Drive
- • Ability to meet deadlines and manage workload effectively in a remote environment

- • Structured workload with clear timelines: starting batch of 10 questions due in 2 business days, followed by batches of up to 150 questions within 3 business days

- • Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week with potential for up to 20 hours total
- • Payment issued after all content feedback is reviewed and approved by Kaplan
