- • Provide evidence-based family, individual, and group therapy for eating disorders and comorbid diagnoses in a virtual clinic setting, implementing modalities such as FBT, CBT-E, and CBT-AR as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
- • Maintain a patient caseload, conduct assessments, diagnose and treat mental health conditions, and utilize between-session messaging via Equip’s EMR to support patients and collaborate with treatment team members.
- • Work within a fully virtual, mission-driven company recognized as a leader in evidence-based eating disorder treatment, serving patients nationwide with a focus on accessibility, diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
- • Pursue and maintain pre-licensure status in California and other states as needed, with financial and supervisory support from Equip to achieve independent licensure while delivering high-quality, documented care.
🎯 Requirements
- • Completion of a Master’s or doctoral degree in a mental health field (e.g., marriage and family therapy, social work, professional counseling, psychology) and associate license-eligible or in process of obtaining associate license in California.
- • Willingness to support, with supervision, a caseload of patients of all ages, co-occurring conditions, backgrounds, cultures, and varying degrees of acuity.
- • Ability to safely and effectively deliver care in a virtual setting, including providing 30 hours/week of availability for direct patient care and committing to minimum hours after 2 pm and three evenings per week until 7 pm.
- • Passion for evidence-based care, mental health, eating disorder treatment, and expanding access to treatment, with enthusiasm for being a strong team player in a multidisciplinary environment.
