- • As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer at Roots Automation, you will be at the forefront of transforming the insurance industry through cutting-edge AI solutions. You will serve as a crucial technical advisor and a passionate advocate for our agentic AI platform, working hand-in-hand with the Sales team to drive conversions and secure new business. This role is pivotal in translating complex technological capabilities into tangible business value for our clients, focusing on solving intricate challenges within the insurance sector, particularly in claims and underwriting.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to build deep expertise in Roots Automation's suite of solutions, including our advanced document processing, custom model deployment, and multimodal intelligence capabilities. You will leverage this knowledge to architect and present innovative solutions that address the specific pain points and strategic objectives of insurance carriers and brokers. This involves understanding their current workflows, identifying areas for AI-driven automation, and demonstrating how Roots' platform can deliver unprecedented speed, accuracy, and scale.
- • You will be instrumental in winning the trust of prospective customers by showcasing a profound understanding of both the technical intricacies of AI and the nuanced business landscape of the insurance market. Empathizing with their challenges and articulating clear, compelling solutions will be key to your success. This requires not just technical prowess but also strong business acumen and the ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels, from IT professionals to C-suite executives.
- • A significant part of your role will involve developing and delivering highly engaging demonstrations tailored to both business and technical audiences. You will collaborate closely with Account Executives to craft compelling narratives that highlight the transformative power of our AI solutions. This includes preparing and presenting customized demos, leading Proofs of Concept (POCs), and managing pilot programs to showcase the real-world impact of our technology.
- • You will be responsible for responding to functional and technical aspects of Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs), ensuring that our solutions are accurately represented and that we meet all customer requirements. This demands meticulous attention to detail and the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely.
- • Contributing to and employing best practices in demo execution, POCs, and pilots will be essential. You will actively help customers customize or extend the Roots Automation solution during these critical phases, ensuring a seamless and successful evaluation process. This hands-on involvement will provide invaluable insights into customer needs and potential product enhancements.
- • Presenting our vision and solutions to prospects, customers, and partners at industry trade shows, conferences, and webinars will be a key aspect of raising our profile and generating demand. You will be a visible representative of Roots Automation, sharing our success stories and thought leadership.
- • Beyond direct sales support, you will participate in value-added activities that strengthen our market presence and community engagement. This includes contributing to case studies, facilitating reference calls, and potentially engaging in community events like meetups to foster relationships and share knowledge.
- • You will work collaboratively with customers and internal stakeholders to design and align solutions that address critical use cases, integration challenges, data reporting requirements, and other essential aspects of a successful AI implementation. This requires a holistic view of the customer's environment and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- • A critical skill will be the ability to discuss, with credibility, competitive offers in the marketplace and effectively differentiate Roots Automation's unique value proposition. 🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in solution selling AI-powered solutions to upper mid-market and/or enterprise customers within the Insurance sector.
- • Strong knowledge and experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Robotic Process Automation, and/or Intelligent Document Processing.
- • Technical background with hands-on experience, combined with a commercial mindset to win deals.
- • Understanding of security, compliance, and governance challenges specific to insurance companies.
- • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and explain complex technology simply.
