You will be a critical component of the sales team, focusing on our strategic customer segment and driving technical wins that align with customer needs.
  • • As a Presales Engineer, your primary responsibility is to deliver the technical validation and ensure the best product fit for our clients. You will own the technical pre-sales relationship, meticulously leading technical discovery sessions, architecting innovative solutions, delivering compelling product demonstrations, proactively addressing customer concerns, and crafting creative solutions that overcome business challenges. Your expertise will be key in building and solidifying customer trust in Twilio's cutting-edge solutions.
  • • You will collaborate closely with Account Executives, playing a pivotal role in executing essential pre-sales activities. This includes rigorous opportunity qualification, delivering impactful product demonstrations, managing and executing Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), developing detailed design documentation, conducting technical presentations, and delivering effective enablement sessions to clients.
  • • Your mission is to help customers achieve their business objectives by leading the technical and product aspects of the sale. You will be responsible for recommending best-practice solutions, providing expert guidance on leveraging Twilio's powerful APIs, and ensuring customers can effectively integrate and utilize our platform to its full potential.
  • • Cultivate your role as a trusted advisor to our customers. This involves taking the initiative to deeply understand their technical pain points through thorough discovery processes. Based on this understanding, you will design, demonstrate, and present innovative solutions that directly address and resolve complex business challenges, showcasing your problem-solving prowess and technical acumen.
  • • You will be tasked with building and delivering highly interactive, complex, and engaging customer product demonstrations. These presentations will effectively showcase the extensive capabilities of Twilio's Communications Products, while simultaneously fostering strong, lasting relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders within customer organizations.
  • • Embrace a hands-on, high-energy approach, driven by passion and a creative problem-solving mindset. You will be equipped with the knowledge and ability to navigate complex technical landscapes, drive initiatives to completion, and inspire and lead others towards successful outcomes. Your proactive nature will be essential in identifying and resolving issues, both for our customers and within our growing organization.
  • • Take ownership and initiative to identify and solve problems, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented attitude. This extends to both addressing customer-specific challenges and contributing to the continuous improvement of our internal processes and offerings as Twilio scales globally.
  • • Actively contribute to the broader Twilio Solutions Engineering community. This involves sharing your knowledge, developing and refining demonstration materials, and creating reusable presentation assets that benefit the entire team and enhance our collective capabilities. Your contributions will help elevate the expertise and effectiveness of our presales function.
  • • This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate those needs into technical solutions using Twilio's platform. You will be at the forefront of innovation, helping businesses transform their customer engagement strategies through the power of programmable communications.
