📋 Description

• Provide evidence-based psychiatric care to children, teens, and young adults via live 30-minute video intake appointments and regular follow-up sessions.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess mental health conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Manage medications for pediatric and adolescent patients, including prescribing, monitoring efficacy, and adjusting dosages as clinically indicated.
• Deliver culturally-responsive care that acknowledges and respects the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and needs of patients and their families.
• Engage families in the treatment process to support holistic, collaborative care outcomes.
• Adhere to ethical standards and clinical best practices in all patient interactions and documentation.
• Utilize Lyra’s AI-powered platform, Lyra Empower, to streamline scheduling, referrals, and clinical workflows.
• Refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services integrated within Lyra’s ecosystem to complement medication management.
• Participate in ongoing clinical consultation and training opportunities to enhance diagnostic expertise and treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations governing prescribing practices and telehealth delivery.
• Work independently as a 1099 contractor while benefiting from Lyra’s provider platform that reduces administrative burdens such as marketing, billing, and scheduling.
• Serve a diverse patient population across the United States through virtual care, with no requirement for in-person office visits.
• Contribute to Lyra’s mission of improving access to mental health care by delivering timely, high-quality psychiatric services with a one-day access guarantee for members.
• Ensure clinical documentation meets Lyra’s standards for quality, accuracy, and continuity of care.
• Collaborate with Lyra’s clinical team to support continuous improvement in care delivery and patient outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

• Valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of New Jersey
• Current DEA registration and state prescribing authority for controlled substances
• Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry, Pediatric Psychiatry, or related specialty
• Experience providing psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults
• Proficiency in telehealth platforms and virtual clinical workflows
• Commitment to delivering culturally-responsive, evidence-based mental health care
