- • Alan is seeking a visionary and hands-on Sales Enablement Lead to build and scale our sales enablement function into a world-class operation. This is a pivotal role where you will define the strategic direction, lead a growing team across multiple countries, and directly contribute to transforming our extensive sales organization of over 200 professionals into a highly effective team of trusted advisors. You will be instrumental in shaping how sales enablement operates at Alan for years to come, joining us at a critical inflection point as we expand from a France-first function to a truly global entity.
- • As the Sales Enablement Lead, you will collaborate across our entire sales ecosystem, including Account Executives, Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Inbound Sales, Account Management, and Crew Leads. You will work closely with senior sales leadership to align on strategic priorities, orchestrate the team's roadmap, and ensure the successful delivery of training initiatives that demonstrably drive performance improvements. Your role will be a blend of strategic thinking and practical execution, with approximately 40% of your time dedicated to strategic, organizational, and coordination efforts, and 60% focused on personally designing and delivering high-impact enablement programs. At Alan, we champion a 'lead by doing' philosophy, meaning you will be actively involved in the creation and delivery of enablement initiatives, not just managing them.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass strategic leadership, including defining and driving the long-term vision for Sales Enablement at Alan, coordinating the team's roadmap, and ensuring its flawless execution. You will be the key liaison with sales leadership to ensure enablement initiatives are tightly aligned with overarching business objectives. A critical part of your role will involve analyzing sales performance data to pinpoint areas where Sales Enablement can deliver the most significant impact. Furthermore, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leading experimentation with AI technologies to enhance sales processes, such as AI-powered role-play simulations, personalized learning paths, and automated content generation.
- • On the execution front, you will spend substantial time engaging directly with sales teams in the field to identify skill and performance gaps. You will be responsible for designing and delivering impactful training programs covering a broad spectrum of topics, including core sales skills, insurance expertise, understanding the legal environment, and deep product mastery. You will also play a crucial role in building training assets by effectively coordinating with internal subject matter experts and leadership. Your training efforts will support sales teams from their initial onboarding phase throughout their career progression at Alan. As Alan continues its rapid scaling, including expansion into new countries and the introduction of new products, you will be essential in ensuring effective change management for our growing sales force, which is projected to exceed 225 salespeople by the end of the year.
- • Success in your first year will be measured by several key achievements. You will have established the foundational organizational structure for scale, designing the team's structure, processes, and operational methodologies to support a larger, more global organization across more than four countries. You will have developed a data-driven enablement function, defining and implementing clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure training effectiveness, sales performance, and the overall Return on Investment (ROI) of enablement efforts, transitioning our approach from intuition to evidence-based decision-making. Critically, you will have identified and addressed key performance gaps by conducting a comprehensive audit of our current sales enablement operating model, pinpointing the top 3-5 most impactful performance levers, and achieving measurable improvements in those areas.
