📋 Description

  • Own the end-to-end sales process for Large Group benefits, from quote generation through enrollment, specifically for assigned broker firms.
  • Develop and execute customized quoting strategies for each case in collaboration with Broker Sales Executives (BSEs), leveraging deep knowledge of carrier partner capabilities and market dynamics.
  • Maintain comprehensive understanding of large group insurance products, including medical and non-medical/ancillary plans, and their respective plan features and benefits.
  • Analyze and interpret financial and underwriting principles related to self-funded, level-funded, and alternate-funded large group plans to inform pricing and proposal development.
  • Create, maintain, and deliver broker-client-ready sales proposals using spreadsheets and documentation tools, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Conduct regular follow-up calls with brokers and agents to understand client needs, identify new sales opportunities, and strengthen broker relationships.
  • Provide brokers with detailed guidance on carrier administrative procedures, product availability, and appropriate group product selection.
  • Pre-screen individuals and groups for medical conditions to determine suitable plan options and assess risk adjustment factors impacting premium rates.
  • Support brokers during client and enrollment meetings by attending as needed and preparing all required enrollment documents, benefit booklets, and compliance materials.
  • Adhere strictly to CRC Benefits’ confidentiality policies regarding sensitive client and carrier information.
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives to enhance service delivery and drive increased sales activity from broker partners.
  • Resolve client and broker conflicts, identify process improvements, and provide constructive feedback to management.
  • Work within a remote environment using video and screen sharing technology to maintain team cohesion and communication.
  • Be available for occasional long or irregular hours during peak enrollment or sales periods.
  • Perform physical duties including prolonged sitting, frequent speaking and hearing, and occasional standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support team and organizational goals.

🎯 Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent required
  • 4+ years professional experience in selling, account management, or servicing large group benefits
  • Active Life & Health License
  • Knowledge of large group carrier plan features for medical and non-medical/ancillary plans
  • Strong knowledge of self-funded, level-funded, or alternate-funded plans
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook Exchange) and Google Chrome
