- • Provide evidence-based psychiatric care to children, teens, and young adults via live 30-minute video intake appointments and regular follow-up visits.
- • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- • Manage medication regimens for pediatric and adolescent patients, including prescribing, adjusting, and monitoring pharmacological interventions.
- • Deliver culturally-responsive care that acknowledges and respects the diverse backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences of patients and their families.
- • Collaborate with Lyra’s network of therapists and coaches to refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services in tandem with medication management.
- • Utilize Lyra’s AI-powered platform, Lyra Empower, to streamline clinical workflows, access patient records, and coordinate care without manual scheduling or administrative burden.
- • Maintain compliance with clinical best practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements for prescribing controlled substances in outpatient settings.
- • Engage in ongoing clinical consultation and training opportunities provided by Lyra to enhance diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes.
- • Focus exclusively on patient care without the need for self-promotion, marketing, or practice management tasks typically required in private practice.
- • Serve as a contracted provider through Lyra Clinical Associates, operating within Lyra Health’s national provider network serving over 20 million individuals.
- • Work with a diverse patient population across varying socioeconomic, racial, ethnic, and neurodiverse backgrounds, ensuring equitable access to high-quality mental health care.
- • Participate in Lyra’s commitment to measurable clinical outcomes, with nine out of ten patients showing improvement through provider-supported care.
- • Deliver care remotely via secure video platform; no in-person clinic obligations required.
- • Maintain timely documentation of patient encounters through Lyra’s integrated digital platform to support continuity of care and regulatory compliance.
🎯 Requirements
- • Active, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania
- • Current DEA registration and authority to prescribe controlled substances
- • Board certification or eligibility in psychiatric-mental health nursing (for NPs) or psychiatry (for PAs)
- • Experience providing psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults
- • Demonstrated ability to deliver culturally-responsive, trauma-informed mental health care
- • Reliable high-speed internet and private, HIPAA-compliant space for virtual appointments
