- • Provide evidence-based psychiatric care to children, teens, and young adults via 30-minute live video intake and follow-up appointments.
- • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- • Manage medication regimens for pediatric and adolescent patients, including prescribing, monitoring efficacy, and adjusting dosages as clinically indicated.
- • Deliver culturally-responsive care that acknowledges and respects the diverse backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences of patients and their families.
- • Collaborate with Lyra’s network of therapists and coaches to coordinate integrated care, including seamless referrals to evidence-based therapy and coaching services.
- • Utilize Lyra Empower, the AI-powered clinical platform, to streamline documentation, scheduling, and patient matching while minimizing administrative burdens.
- • Maintain compliance with clinical best practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements for prescribing in all states where services are rendered.
- • Participate in ongoing clinical consultation and training opportunities provided by Lyra to enhance diagnostic accuracy and treatment outcomes.
- • Engage in continuous quality improvement by reviewing patient outcomes, adhering to peer-reviewed clinical protocols, and contributing to Lyra’s research initiatives.
- • Operate as an independent contractor through Lyra Clinical Associates, with full autonomy over scheduling while benefiting from Lyra’s provider support infrastructure.
- • Serve a diverse patient population with varying mental health needs, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and trauma-related conditions.
- • Ensure timely access to care by completing patient intakes within one day of referral, consistent with Lyra’s commitment to rapid mental health service delivery.
- • Maintain accurate, secure, and HIPAA-compliant electronic health records using Lyra’s integrated digital platform.
- • Advocate for patient-centered care by actively involving families and caregivers in treatment planning and decision-making processes.
- • Adhere to Lyra’s clinical outcomes framework, which emphasizes measurable improvements in patient well-being and high rates of clinical success.
🎯 Requirements
- • Current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in at least one U.S. state
- • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, or related specialty
- • Valid DEA registration and authority to prescribe controlled substances
- • Experience providing psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults
- • Proficiency in conducting psychiatric evaluations and medication management in a telehealth setting
- • Commitment to culturally-responsive and trauma-informed care practices
