📋 Description

• Provide evidence-based psychiatric care to children, teens, and young adults via live 30-minute video intake appointments and regular follow-up visits.
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to assess mental health conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Manage medication regimens for pediatric and adolescent patients, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting pharmacological interventions.
• Deliver culturally-responsive care that acknowledges and respects the diverse backgrounds, identities, and experiences of patients and their families.
• Collaborate with Lyra’s integrated network of therapists and coaches to refer patients to evidence-based therapy and coaching services in coordination with medication management.
• Utilize Lyra Empower, Lyra’s AI-powered platform, to streamline clinical workflows, access patient data, and support clinical decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with clinical best practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements for prescribing practitioners.
• Engage in ongoing clinical consultation and training opportunities provided by Lyra to enhance diagnostic expertise and treatment outcomes.
• Focus on patient care without administrative burdens such as self-promotion, scheduling, or billing, as these are managed by Lyra Clinical Associates.
• Work within a provider network that serves over 20 million people globally through employer and health plan partnerships.
• Contribute to Lyra’s mission of improving access to mental health care by ensuring patients receive care within one day of requesting it.
• Participate in a model where nine out of ten patients show improvement with provider support, emphasizing clinical effectiveness and measurable outcomes.
• Serve a diverse patient population with varying mental health needs, abilities, and cultural contexts, ensuring equitable and inclusive care delivery.
• Operate as a 1099 contractor through Lyra Clinical Associates, with autonomy over scheduling while benefiting from Lyra’s technology and operational infrastructure.
• Maintain professional licensure and prescribing authority in good standing within the state of New Jersey and any other states where services are rendered.

🎯 Requirements

• Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the United States
• Current, valid DEA registration and state prescribing authority for controlled substances
• Experience providing psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults
• Valid malpractice insurance coverage
