📋 Description

• • Architect, design, and implement state-of-the-art Generative AI models, including advanced architectures such as auto-regressive models, diffusion models, Discrete Diffusion, and Hybrid SSMs, with a focus on pushing the boundaries of current research and achieving state-of-the-art (SOTA) performance.
• • Leverage deep expertise in model training, fine-tuning, and optimization techniques to enhance Large Language Models (LLMs) and Multimodal LLMs (MLLMs). This includes ensuring optimal accuracy, naturalness of generated content, and overall performance, with a particular emphasis on multilingual capabilities.
• • Collaborate closely with a diverse, cross-functional team comprising fellow AI scientists specializing in agentic AI, experienced software engineers, and subject matter experts from various domains. This collaborative effort will focus on understanding intricate requirements and co-developing bespoke solutions that harness the full potential of LLMs/MLLMs.
• • Drive innovation by enhancing existing applications through the seamless integration of LLMs/MLLMs. A key objective is to ensure these integrated solutions maintain optimal performance and speed, even when deployed on resource-constrained platforms, making advanced AI accessible in diverse automotive environments.
• • Maintain a proactive and continuous learning approach, staying fully abreast of the latest advancements, emerging trends, and cutting-edge research within the fields of Generative AI, Conversational AI, and language modeling. This involves actively identifying, evaluating, and incorporating new techniques, technologies, and best practices to continually elevate the overall performance and capabilities of Cerence's AI systems.
• • Contribute to the development and refinement of conversational AI systems, working with various components such as acoustic models, language models, and pronunciation models to create intuitive and effective user interactions within vehicles.
• • Apply strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges in AI development and deployment. This role requires a methodical approach to identifying issues, devising solutions, and validating their effectiveness.
