- • As a Principal Analyst - Growth at Second Dinner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data-driven growth strategy for MARVEL SNAP and future titles, directly influencing how the company acquires, retains, and monetizes players through rigorous analytics and predictive modeling.
- • You will partner with the Growth team to transform raw player data into actionable insights that drive smarter user acquisition decisions, ensuring sustainable scaling across channels, geographies, and game launches.
- • Your work will establish the analytical foundation for how Second Dinner measures marketing effectiveness, enabling confident, high-impact investment decisions in a fast-moving, remote-first environment.
- • Define and evolve the UA measurement strategy by designing attribution frameworks, measurement methodologies, and predictive capabilities that inform budget allocation, channel mix, and market expansion plans.
- • Collaborate with the Director of Growth to optimize paid campaigns across Meta, Google, ASA, and DSPs by surfacing performance trends, identifying risks, and accelerating decisions through scalable dashboards and real-time reporting.
- • Lead deep-dive UA analyses across cohorts, geographies, and creative dimensions to uncover insights that guide media mix shifts, budget reallocations, and geo-targeting strategies.
- • Design, train, deploy, and monitor predictive models for LTV, payback period, and ROAS, owning the full ML lifecycle from feature engineering in Python/SQL to production deployment and clear communication of model limitations.
- • Own end-to-end measurement integrity across AppsFlyer, Firebase, and Meta, validating data quality, monitoring attribution windows, detecting fraud signals, and escalating discrepancies to Data Engineering.
- • Design and execute incrementality tests, geo-lift studies, and media mix models to quantify true incremental impact of UA spend, moving beyond last-touch attribution to build a holistic view of channel effectiveness.
- • Establish and evangelize measurement best practices across the organization, serving as a senior analytics authority who raises the bar on rigor, mentors peers, and embeds data-driven decision-making into Second Dinner’s culture.
- • Partner closely with Product Analytics and Data Engineering to align acquisition metrics with in-game performance, ensuring end-to-end funnel visibility and data reliability.
- • Thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced, remote-first culture where your analytical expertise directly contributes to the studio’s reputation for award-winning, player-centric games.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in growth analytics, user acquisition, or marketing performance analysis, with strong preference for mobile or gaming industry background.
- • Proficiency in SQL and Python for analytical workflows, model development, and data manipulation, including experience with pandas and Spark.
- • Hands-on experience with attribution platforms such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, or Singular, including event configuration, SKAN, and postback validation.
- • Demonstrated ability to build and deploy predictive models (LTV, ROAS, payback) and create scalable dashboards using tools like Tableau, Looker, or similar.
- • Strong QA mindset with proactive data validation skills and the ability to troubleshoot measurement discrepancies across platforms.
- • Excellent communication skills to convey complex data insights clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving decisions in ambiguous environments.
