📋 Description

• As the Principal Architect for SaaS Platforms at Tessera Labs, you will be the foremost technical authority, steering the delivery, architecture, and seamless integration of enterprise SaaS platforms within our customers' environments. This pivotal role places you at the nexus of our AI-native enterprise software strategy, with a primary focus on Salesforce and a significant secondary responsibility for other leading platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, and ServiceNow. Your mission is to ensure these critical business systems integrate flawlessly with Tessera's cutting-edge AI platform, thereby unlocking intelligent automation and sophisticated workflows at an enterprise scale.
• You will be instrumental in defining and upholding the architectural integrity of our SaaS integrations. This involves developing scalable architecture patterns, establishing robust governance models, and championing best practices that ensure our solutions are not only functional but also secure, reliable, and capable of meeting the demanding requirements of enterprise clients.
• Your expertise in Salesforce architecture will be paramount. You will lead the design and integration strategy across its core clouds – Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud. A key aspect of this will be architecting solutions that embed AI-driven automation directly into Salesforce workflows, enhancing user productivity and business outcomes.
• You will architect the critical connections between Salesforce, our AI platform, other SaaS solutions, and diverse enterprise systems. This includes defining clear integration patterns and ensuring data flows efficiently and securely, enabling a unified and intelligent operational backbone for our customers.
• This role demands a hands-on approach to architecture leadership within a dynamic startup environment. You will be expected to dive deep into technical challenges, guide implementation teams, and serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex architectural and integration issues.
• Collaboration is key. You will work hand-in-hand with Delivery teams to ensure successful deployments, partner with Pre-Sales to craft compelling technical solutions for prospective clients, and align closely with Product Management to ensure our AI platform's capabilities are optimally integrated and strategically aligned with the evolving needs of enterprise SaaS architectures.
• Your responsibilities will extend to defining reference architectures and integration models that support the scalability and future growth of our platform. You will provide critical architectural input into product roadmap planning, ensuring that our technology strategy is robust, forward-thinking, and directly addresses the integration challenges faced by enterprises leveraging multiple SaaS solutions.
• You will be responsible for ensuring that our SaaS architectures are designed for resilience, scalability, and security, adhering to industry best practices and enterprise-grade standards. This includes a deep understanding of data models, workflow orchestration, and the nuances of multi-SaaS environments.
• A significant part of your role will involve enabling AI-driven automation across various business functions, including CRM, HCM, ITSM, and other operational workflows. You will architect the bridges between Salesforce, Data Cloud, AI services, and external AI platforms, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with intelligent automation.
• You will lead architecture discovery sessions and solution workshops with customer technical stakeholders, translating complex business needs into elegant and effective technical solutions. Your ability to communicate complex architectural concepts clearly and persuasively will be vital in building trust and securing buy-in from clients and internal teams alike.
• By defining the integration strategies across Salesforce and other enterprise SaaS platforms, you will directly impact the success of our customer implementations and the overall adoption of Tessera's AI platform.
• You will champion the adoption of modern integration patterns, such as event-driven architectures, REST APIs, and robust workflow orchestration, ensuring our solutions are built on a foundation of technical excellence and future-proofing.
• Ultimately, you will shape how Tessera's AI platform integrates with the enterprise SaaS landscape, acting as the trusted technical leader and architectural authority for our most strategic customer engagements and product development initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, SaaS architecture, or platform architecture roles, with a deep specialization in Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud).
• Proven expertise in architecting and implementing complex enterprise SaaS integrations, including strong knowledge of integration patterns, data models, and workflow orchestration across multiple SaaS platforms (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, ServiceNow).
• Hands-on programming experience in Apex, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and familiarity with Python for AI integration, coupled with experience integrating SaaS platforms with AI systems and intelligent workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, complex delivery engagements, provide architectural oversight, and resolve intricate technical challenges, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
