- • Provide L2/L3 production support for the firm’s global cryptocurrency trading exchange platform, ensuring 24x7 operational stability and minimal downtime.
- • Own and manage the production environment for all key business lines including Exchange platform, Risk management system, Backoffice, Market data, and non-trading activities.
- • Respond to and resolve critical production incidents in real-time, coordinating with engineering, trading, and operations teams to restore service and prevent recurrence.
- • Monitor system performance, identify anomalies, and proactively address potential failures before they impact trading or client operations.
- • Document incident resolutions, root causes, and procedural improvements to enhance team knowledge and reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR).
- • Collaborate with development teams to validate deployments, test fixes in staging environments, and ensure smooth rollouts to production.
- • Act as the primary point of contact for business users reporting issues with trading systems, market data feeds, or risk controls.
- • Maintain detailed runbooks, checklists, and escalation procedures for all supported systems to ensure consistent and reliable support.
- • Participate in on-call rotations to provide after-hours and weekend coverage for critical systems, responding to alerts and outages promptly.
- • Analyze system logs, error messages, and monitoring dashboards to diagnose complex technical issues across distributed systems.
- • Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements related to production system integrity and access management.
- • Support system upgrades, patch deployments, and configuration changes with minimal disruption to live trading operations.
- • Work closely with global teams across time zones to coordinate incident response and maintain alignment on system health and priorities.
- • Continuously improve support processes by identifying automation opportunities and recommending tooling enhancements for monitoring and alerting.
- • Maintain accurate records of all support tickets, change requests, and system modifications in the designated ticketing and tracking systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience providing L2/L3 production support for high-availability financial or trading systems
- • Strong understanding of cryptocurrency exchange platforms, market data feeds, or risk management systems
- • Proficiency in monitoring tools, log analysis, and incident response workflows
- • Ability to work in a 24x7 on-call environment with flexible shift coverage
- • Solid troubleshooting skills across Linux-based systems and distributed applications
- • Experience working in a fast-paced, low-latency trading environment
