• We are seeking a Principal Data Analytics Consultant with specialized expertise in Power BI to join our esteemed team. This role is pivotal in enabling our clients to extract tangible value from their data through advanced analytics, sophisticated data visualization, robust data preparation, and insightful data science.
• In this consulting role, you will be instrumental in delivering impactful project-based engagements. This includes collaborating closely with clients to define analytical requirements, leveraging prototyping and visualization techniques to bring data insights to life.
• You will be responsible for managing client expectations effectively, leading weekly status reports, and proactively gathering client feedback through interactive working sessions to ensure project alignment and success.
• A core responsibility will be the creation of compelling reporting and data visualization solutions using Power BI, transforming raw data into actionable business intelligence.
• You will also be tasked with analyzing, troubleshooting, and optimizing product performance or deployment issues, ensuring the smooth operation of client solutions.
• Support and assistance with backlog management and development will be required, contributing to the continuous improvement of client data platforms.
• A key aspect of the role involves identifying and recommending innovative functionalities and solutions that not only meet but also enhance user requirements, driving greater efficiency and effectiveness.
• You will provide expert recommendations on best practices to optimize data models, reports, and the overall platform architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• This role requires a deep understanding of data fluency and the ability to effectively communicate complex data concepts to business stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical capabilities and business needs.
• You will leverage your expertise in DAX and Power Query for sophisticated data manipulation and analysis within Power BI.
• Experience with Power BI Service administration, including managing security roles and infrastructure setup, is essential for ensuring secure and efficient deployment.
• You will utilize your strong problem-solving skills and passion for mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures to tackle diverse client challenges.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant experience and/or demonstrated expertise in data analytics and data visualization platforms in an enterprise environment.
• 3+ years of external consulting experience.
• Expertise in data visualization and data modeling with Power BI.
• Expertise in DAX and Power Query.
• Demonstrated expertise in data fluency and communicating to business users.
• Knowledge of SQL experience leveraging data warehouse, data marts, and/or data models (in Snowflake environment preferred).
• Exceptional customer facing skills, including outstanding communication skills and project management skills.
• Strong problem solving skills with a passion for learning and mastering new technologies, techniques, and procedures.
