- • Lead enterprise-wide DevOps transformation by establishing maturity frameworks and driving cultural adoption of continuous delivery practices across the organization.
- • Mentor engineering teams on DevOps best practices, CI/CD methodologies, and infrastructure automation to foster a scalable and resilient engineering culture.
- • Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform, CloudFormation, or equivalent tools to standardize and automate cloud resource provisioning.
- • Build, enhance, and maintain high-performance CI/CD pipelines that enable rapid, reliable, and secure software delivery across multiple environments.
- • Architect cloud-native platforms on AWS, optimizing for performance, reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency through automated resource management.
- • Integrate automated security testing, vulnerability scanning, and secrets management into CI/CD pipelines to enforce DevSecOps practices.
- • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements by embedding compliance gates and audit controls into deployment workflows.
- • Establish and maintain comprehensive observability solutions for production environments, including monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- • Define and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs) and Service Level Objectives (SLOs) to measure system reliability and drive continuous improvement.
- • Lead incident response procedures, root cause analysis, and post-mortem processes to minimize downtime and improve system resilience.
- • Optimize cloud infrastructure costs through automation, rightsizing, and usage analysis to maximize ROI on cloud investments.
- • Design and execute disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience during outages or critical failures.
- • Develop and deliver training programs and documentation to upskill teams on DevOps tools, automation practices, and platform engineering standards.
- • Serve as the primary technical expert for platform engineering initiatives, providing guidance on architecture, tooling, and operational excellence.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including security, compliance, and software engineering to align DevOps strategy with organizational goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of DevOps/SRE experience with 5+ years in cloud platforms (AWS) and GitHub
- • Expert proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools
- • Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash with proven automation experience
- • Proven leadership in driving technical transformations and mentoring engineering teams
- • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance frameworks
- • Experience integrating automated security testing and DevSecOps practices into CI/CD pipelines
