📋 Description

• As a Principal Engineer, Agentic Journey Engineering Lead at Independence Pet Group, you will drive the development and deployment of autonomous AI agents on the Microsoft Copilot Studio platform, directly impacting customer engagement and operational efficiency across pet insurance platforms.
• Day to day, you will build and configure agentic AI solutions using Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dynamics 365; design conversational workflows; develop custom plugins; manage solution lifecycles via Azure DevOps; lead testing and UAT; collaborate with product, data, security, and architecture teams; and monitor agent performance for compliance and optimization.
• You will join a fast-growing, innovative pet health holding company founded in 2021 that operates a multi-brand, omni-channel portfolio including insurance, education, and lost recovery services across North America, with a mission to simplify the pet parenting journey through technology.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise AI agent development, lead and mentor engineers, shape AI-native customer experiences at scale, and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge Microsoft AI and Power Platform technologies while influencing enterprise architecture and governance frameworks.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field
• 12+ years overall experience in application engineering and delivery
• 5+ years at Lead/Senior Engineer level on enterprise application platforms
• 2+ years hands-on building production GenAI/agentic solutions (chat, copilots, multi-agent orchestration, RAG)
• Strong proficiency in Python, C#, or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Platform connectors
