- • Lead enterprise-wide compliance initiatives and serve as a trusted advisor across multiple business units within BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee.
- • Coordinate highly sensitive reviews conducted by government agencies including TDCI, CMS, OPM/FEP, and DOL.
- • Provide expert regulatory guidance and interpretation for the BlueCare line of business, including support for Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance (TDCI) contract submissions and regulatory interactions.
- • Serve as the primary subject matter expert in regulatory research, data analysis, audit principles, project management techniques, and industry best practices for compliance and ethics.
- • Represent Corporate Compliance in interactions with both internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies.
- • Manage the scope, execution, and change management of multiple complex compliance projects, including developing contingency plans and implementing corrective actions.
- • Oversee project team productivity and performance, track key metrics, report on progress, and resolve operational issues.
- • Assist on special assignments and workgroups focused on enhancing enterprise-level compliance processes and systems.
- • Leverage AI tools to improve compliance workflows, automate tasks, and solve complex regulatory challenges.
- • Maintain advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint to support compliance reporting and documentation.
- • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills to present findings, train teams, and communicate regulatory requirements clearly.
- • Work independently with minimal supervision while also collaborating effectively in team environments with shared accountability.
- • Possess or obtain an industry-recognized compliance, audit, fraud, or information compliance designation within two years of hire.
- • Apply deep expertise in healthcare compliance, Medicaid regulations, and federal/state government compliance obligations.
- • Ensure all compliance activities align with BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee’s ethical standards and legal requirements.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8 years of experience in healthcare compliance and/or government regulatory compliance obligations
- • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent 4 years of professional corporate work experience
- • Project management experience
