- • Principal Frontend Engineer at Feathr Inc., a nonprofit marketing platform trusted by over 1,300 nonprofits, responsible for leading frontend development of a critical SaaS platform that helps nonprofits build purposeful connections and grow impact.
- • Day-to-day work includes mentoring and training developers, reviewing and approving code, solving technical problems, planning product development lifecycle, collaborating with designers on UI/UX, breaking down complex challenges, iterating on feedback, and ensuring data integrity, availability, and confidentiality across systems.
- • Feathr fosters a culture of practicality, ambition, candor, trust, and service, where engineers own their code from planning to retirement and work remotely within Eastern/Central U.S. timezones to support a mission-driven team.
- • In this role, you will deepen expertise in scalable frontend architecture, lead technical decisions in React/TypeScript systems, influence product direction through collaboration, and mentor peers while contributing to a platform that empowers nonprofits to achieve greater impact.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of software development experience with strong focus on SaaS products
- • Expertise in React and TypeScript
- • Experience designing, building, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems
- • Proficiency in writing automated unit tests and working with REST/CRUD APIs
- • Experience with containerized applications and self-hosted Drone CI/CD
- • Ability to optimize data modeling for growing business needs and integrate with API layers
