📋 Description

• Design, build, and deliver high-quality, scalable enterprise SaaS applications for public institutions using .NET, SQL Server, and Angular.
• Write production code for critical and complex system components, setting the standard for quality, maintainability, and performance.
• Architect and implement modular, high-performing software systems with a focus on scalability, fault tolerance, and seamless integration with enterprise-wide systems.
• Lead complex system designs and influence architecture decisions across engineering teams to ensure alignment with long-term technical strategy.
• Modernize legacy monolithic systems into modular architectures without disrupting ongoing production delivery.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to evaluate new technologies and approaches before organization-wide adoption.
• Provide technical guidance to teams on planning and executing complex engineering work, ensuring clarity and alignment on technical objectives.
• Implement and own system observability, performance monitoring, and reliability tooling to ensure critical paths are measurable and actionable.
• Define and enforce scalable architectural patterns and reusable components across multiple teams and projects.
• Own technical roadmaps for large-scale systems, driving modernization initiatives from legacy platforms to modern cloud-native solutions.
• Apply automated testing practices including TDD, aligned with business risk and quality standards.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development practices to ensure efficient, repeatable, and reliable software delivery.
• Leverage code quality and security tools such as SonarQube and Mend to maintain high standards in code integrity and vulnerability management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and U.S.-based clients to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
• Maintain a hands-on engineering role while providing leadership, mentoring, and technical direction to senior and mid-level engineers.
• Work on high-impact government technology projects that enhance efficiency, transparency, and public service delivery.
• Operate with full autonomy in managing time and priorities, with a results-oriented approach focused on outcomes rather than hours.
• Contribute to a global team of 600+ senior tech professionals based in Latin America, collaborating with U.S. companies on transformative digital initiatives.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including staff-level or equivalent technical leadership
• Strong proficiency in .NET, SQL Server, and Angular
• Proven ability to lead end-to-end delivery of large-scale, high-impact systems
• Experience defining scalable architectures and reusable patterns across teams
• Track record of owning technical roadmaps and modernizing legacy systems
• Solid expertise in automated testing (including TDD) aligned with business risk
