• • As a Principal Game Designer (Balancing) at Voodoo SAS, you will play a pivotal role in transforming hypercasual titles into deep midcore games, directly impacting player retention, monetization, and long-term engagement for globally played titles with over 7 billion downloads.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities include architecting systems for long-term retention and monetization, designing and simulating complex in-game economies using spreadsheet models, pitching and implementing major features, owning game balance and feel across titles, and deconstructing game mechanics using data-driven analysis.
• • You will join Voodoo’s Live Games team, specifically the Midcore squad within Live Studios, collaborating with industry experts on enduring games like Epic Plane Evolution, Archery Clash, and Gear Fight, while contributing to a portfolio generating over $20M annually from resilient hybrid titles.
• • In this role, you will master advanced game balancing techniques, refine your expertise in F2P mobile economies, leverage AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, and influence the design of games played by millions, positioning yourself as a key architect of player-centric, sustainable game systems.
