- • As a Principal Platform Infrastructure Engineer (Containers) at Menlo Security, you will play a critical role in building and operating the company's core infrastructure platform, enabling secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity for enterprise customers including Fortune 500 companies, global banks, and government agencies.
- • Day to day, you will design, deploy, and maintain VM and Kubernetes infrastructure across GCP and AWS, build and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Spacelift, implement observability with Grafana Cloud and Prometheus/Mimir, manage service mesh and DNS automation, and participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation to ensure platform reliability and rapid incident response.
- • You will join a globally distributed team of experienced engineers within Menlo Security’s Platform Infrastructure Engineering group, which supports a cloud-native, security-first infrastructure spanning multiple regions and environments, emphasizing automation, resilience, and multi-tenancy.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, IaC, and observability while driving automation to eliminate toil, contributing to architectural decisions, and growing as a technical leader in a high-impact, mission-driven organization backed by top-tier investors.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
- • Proficiency in common programming & scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go)
- • Kubernetes expertise including cluster administration, RBAC, networking, workload management, and troubleshooting across production environments
- • Proven experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management
- • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform services including GKE, VPC networking, Cloud DNS, Artifact Registry, Secret Manager, IAM, Gemini Code Assist, and Workload Identity
- • Experience with GitOps methodologies and tools
