- • Lead the vision and multi-quarter strategy for a core area of Zip’s AI Agent product, translating rapidly evolving AI technology into clear, actionable product roadmaps that drive enterprise procurement innovation.
- • Own the end-to-end development of Superagents — LLM-powered AI teammates that automate repetitive tasks for procurement, accounts payable, risk, and legal teams, enabling them to focus on strategic work.
- • Partner closely with engineering, design, and AI research teams to ship sophisticated agent capabilities that are accurate, reliable, and deliver tangible business value.
- • Design and implement evaluation frameworks, guardrails, feedback loops, and rollout gates to ensure AI agent outputs are auditable, trustworthy, and meet enterprise-grade quality standards.
- • Work directly with customers and customer-facing teams to gather qualitative and quantitative feedback on AI agent interactions, translating insights into product improvements.
- • Build foundational platform capabilities that other Zip teams and external customers can extend and build upon, prioritizing scalability, interoperability, and developer experience.
- • Maintain the highest bar for accuracy and reliability in AI-driven workflows, even as capabilities expand, ensuring customers trust agents to act on their behalf with minimal human intervention.
- • Collaborate across functions to align roadmaps and drive cross-team adoption of AI agent features, influencing outcomes without direct authority.
- • Roll up your sleeves to engage in user research, debug quality issues, review agent outputs, and contribute hands-on to product refinement when needed.
- • Translate complex procurement, finance, and compliance business processes into intuitive AI-driven workflows that solve real enterprise pain points.
- • Communicate product strategy and progress clearly to internal stakeholders and executive leadership, using data, customer insights, and clear narratives to drive alignment.
- • Prioritize ruthlessly across competing demands, making tough trade-offs to focus on high-impact initiatives that align with Zip’s strategic goals, even when it may disappoint stakeholders.
- • Stay deeply informed on advancements in LLMs, agent architectures, and enterprise AI adoption to ensure Zip’s product remains at the forefront of innovation.
- • Champion a culture of ownership, transparency, and underdog mentality across the product team, fostering an environment where diverse perspectives are valued and innovation is accelerated.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in SaaS or consumer tech, with a track record of owning ambiguous, high-impact areas end to end
- • Deep experience partnering with engineering and design to ship sophisticated products with a great user experience
- • Experience building platform or foundational products that other teams build on top of, with a collaborative, service-oriented approach to aligning roadmaps
- • A track record of setting product strategy and influencing cross-functional partners and leadership without direct authority
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders, including executives
- • Extreme attention to detail, with the ability to quickly grasp complex business processes and industry knowledge
