- • Own the end-to-end vision, strategy, and roadmap for Perk’s Events product, ensuring tight integration with the broader Perk platform for travel and spend management.
- • Drive high-velocity product execution by making bold, data-informed bets grounded in customer feedback, market research, and AI-driven insights to reshape B2B event planning workflows.
- • Serve as the primary connective tissue between customer insights, business outcomes, and engineering/design squads, translating ambiguity into clear product direction and shipped impact.
- • Collaborate closely with event support operations and supplier supply teams to build a cohesive tech and service offering that meets the needs of both customers and event suppliers.
- • Become a domain expert in the MICE industry (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions), understanding end-to-end friction points from event conception through execution and payment processing.
- • Define, own, and report on key product metrics that directly tie to business outcomes, presenting insights and performance to senior leadership.
- • Rapidly prototype new features and workflows using AI tools such as Claude and Cursor to accelerate product development cycles and move from concept to production-ready solutions.
- • Stay deeply engaged with emerging AI research, industry trends, and tooling innovations, filtering noise to identify and apply high-impact applications to Perk’s product ecosystem.
- • Lead with a servant-leadership approach, empowering engineering and design teams by removing distractions, fostering collaboration, and maintaining focus on shared goals.
- • Fluently navigate complex stakeholder environments, securing alignment and buy-in across commercial, operational, and technical teams to advance product priorities.
- • Utilize modern prototyping tools including Cursor, Bolt, and Figma, and collaborate effectively within design and code environments like Git to streamline product development.
- • Translate product decisions and prioritization trade-offs into clear, actionable roadmaps aligned with Perk’s business objectives and long-term growth strategy.
- • Maintain strong written and verbal communication skills to articulate product vision, gather feedback, and influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
- • Demonstrate hands-on passion for AI through active experimentation, side projects, or continuous learning in AI tooling and research applications.
🎯 Requirements
- • Strong customer empathy and deep understanding of the MICE industry, including supplier and event planner pain points across the event lifecycle
- • Proven ability to define product vision and strategy independently, then secure stakeholder alignment and execute against a clear roadmap
- • Fluency in data-driven decision-making, including metric definition, analysis, and translation into product priorities
- • Demonstrated experience leading small cross-functional teams of engineers and designers toward a unified product goal
- • Fluency with modern AI prototyping tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Bolt) and design/collaboration platforms (e.g., Figma, Git)
- • Passion for AI demonstrated through practical application, side projects, or active engagement with AI research and tools
