- • As a Principal Product Manager (Platform) at Fortis Games, you will own the core game systems that underpin every game, including player accounts, compliance, social systems, and related architecture, directly impacting player experience and platform scalability.
- • You will define product strategy, shape social layers like referral systems and guilds, build cross-functional relationships with engineering and game teams, and drive prioritization amid competing demands to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
- • Fortis Games is an early but impactful studio led by industry veterans, focused on creating games that foster belonging and building inclusive, diverse teams where innovation thrives through collaboration and shared purpose.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in platform product management, influence technical and strategic decisions at scale, and grow as a leader by connecting team outcomes to broader company goals while working on innovative systems including AI-integrated workflows.
🎯 Requirements
- • Track record of independently owning complex products end-to-end with strong prioritization in fast-moving environments.
- • Experience working on consumer-facing services such as accounts, identity, or social systems, preferably at scale.
- • Sufficient technical depth to engage credibly with engineers on system design and tradeoffs.
- • Strong cross-functional skills to build alignment across teams with differing priorities and deliver reliably.
- • Ability to clarify ambiguous situations and make sound prioritization decisions.
- • Clear, confident communication with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
- • Experience in or supporting game development, especially free-to-play mobile or scaled consumer apps, is strongly preferred.
- • Hands-on familiarity with AI and agentic workflows, including practical experimentation and a perspective on their practical value.
