- • As a Principal Product Manager (Platform) at Fortis Games, you will own the core game systems that underpin every game, including player accounts, compliance, social systems, and related infrastructure, ensuring seamless player experiences and robust technical foundations.
- • You will define and execute product strategy for platform-level systems, drive cross-functional alignment between engineering, game teams, and partners, and make high-impact prioritization decisions amid competing demands.
- • Fortis Games is an early but impactful studio led by industry veterans, focused on creating games that foster belonging and building inclusive, innovative workplaces where diverse teams thrive.
- • You will deepen your expertise in platform product management, influence technical and strategic direction at a growing company, and help shape how games connect players through social features like chat, guilds, and referral systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven track record of independently owning complex products from conception to launch in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- • Experience with consumer-facing services such as player accounts, identity systems, or social features, preferably at scale.
- • Sufficient technical understanding to engage meaningfully with engineers on architecture and tradeoffs.
- • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to align teams with differing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
- • Excellent communication abilities, including presenting and influencing senior stakeholders.
- • Familiarity with game development, especially free-to-play mobile or large-scale consumer apps, is strongly preferred.
- • Hands-on experience with AI and agentic workflows, including experimentation and practical application in team settings.
