📋 Description

• As a Principal Software Engineer at UiPath, you will build and scale the AI agentic orchestration platform recognized as Invention of the Year for two consecutive years, enabling enterprises to orchestrate AI agents, robots, and human-in-the-loop workflows for critical business outcomes.
• You will design, develop, and maintain full-stack solutions using AI coding assistants, write production-quality code daily with tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot, prototype and ship features validated with real customers, measure system quality against real data, and ensure reliability of distributed systems that enterprises depend on.
• You will join the Vertical Solutions team, operating as an internal startup within UiPath, working with Lax and the Maestro backend team on the core orchestration engine powering enterprise AI automation in a high-visibility, high-impact role on UiPath’s Act 2 strategy.
• You will deepen your expertise in AI systems, distributed architectures, and full-stack development while driving technical decisions with stakeholders, collaborating across global teams, and contributing to cutting-edge enterprise automation technology shaping the future of work.

🎯 Requirements

• 13+ years of software engineering experience, with 5+ years focused on distributed systems and backend architecture
• Strong full stack knowledge including frontend systems like React and backend systems - Python and/or C#
• Experience building production AI systems — LLMs, tool-calling, multi-agent architectures, orchestration frameworks (LangGraph, LangChain, or equivalent)
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with containerization and orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, or equivalent
• Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems: Azure, AWS, or GCP
