- • As a Principal Software Engineer at Salud Healthcare, you will architect, build, and scale the technology foundation powering a value-based care platform that improves patient outcomes and financial performance for provider organizations.
- • You will remain hands-on with coding while providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, influencing architecture decisions, and serving as a trusted advisor across technology, analytics, operations, and executive teams.
- • Salud Healthcare is a rapidly growing Management Services Organization (MSO) transforming value-based care by connecting providers, payers, analytics, and operations through a data-driven technology platform that closes care gaps and optimizes clinical performance.
- • You will deepen your expertise in healthcare interoperability, scalable system design, AI-assisted engineering, and platform modernization while leading efforts to reduce technical debt and improve engineering velocity across distributed teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of software engineering experience building production software systems
- • Experience operating as a Staff Engineer, Principal Engineer, Technical Lead, or similar senior technical role
- • 3+ years leading projects, mentoring engineers, or influencing technical direction across teams
- • Significant healthcare technology experience building software for providers, payers, healthcare SaaS, analytics, population health, or related domains
- • Strong hands-on software development experience using Python
- • Experience building and operating production web applications, APIs, and distributed systems
- • Experience designing and integrating complex data workflows and external system integrations
- • Experience working with cloud infrastructure and modern deployment practices
- • Strong understanding of software architecture, scalability, security, observability, and operational excellence
- • Experience working with PostgreSQL or other relational databases in production environments
- • Experience using AI-assisted development tools as part of an engineering workflow
- • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
