• In this critical role, you will serve as a trusted technical advisor and lead the technical enablement for our strategic AWS partnership. Your primary focus will be to collaborate closely with AWS's technical teams to define and execute a robust technical roadmap for our joint engagements. This collaboration is essential to ensure our sales teams are fully equipped to articulate the value and technical intricacies of 1Password's solutions, thereby supporting and accelerating the overall sales process.
• You will be instrumental in shaping and driving successful technical engagements, requiring a strong ability to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders. This involves translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies that resonate with diverse audiences, from deep technical experts to business leaders.
• Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of strategic and hands-on activities. You will be responsible for designing and implementing tailored security solutions that seamlessly integrate 1Password's SaaS cybersecurity platform with various AWS services, ensuring secure, cloud-native deployments that leverage the full power of the AWS ecosystem.
• A significant aspect of this role involves providing strategic guidance on the design and implementation of scalable cloud infrastructures, with a particular emphasis on optimizing these environments for integrating and leveraging cutting-edge generative AI solutions, such as Amazon Bedrock and Anthropic. This requires a forward-thinking approach to cloud architecture and a deep understanding of AI's potential in cybersecurity.
• You will actively engage with AWS's engineering, solutions architecture, and business development teams to establish and refine a strategic technical roadmap for our partnership. This includes working collaboratively with our internal enablement team to shape a comprehensive enablement roadmap that aligns with the technical roadmap, thereby strengthening our 'better together' narrative.
• A key part of your mission will be to enable partner success by providing ongoing technical support and enablement to AWS partner teams. This will empower them to effectively position, demonstrate, and deploy 1Password solutions for their AWS-based clients, fostering a strong ecosystem of mutual success.
• You will drive technical workshops, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives to ensure AWS partners are thoroughly equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote and sell 1Password's offerings. This proactive enablement is crucial for expanding our reach and impact within the AWS channel.
• Your role will also involve significant pre-sales support, where you will address technical inquiries, develop compelling demonstrations, and provide expert architectural guidance to ensure that customer needs are met effectively and that 1Password is positioned as the optimal solution.
• You will participate in customer meetings as a technical subject matter expert, ensuring the solution is accurately represented, addressing any technical concerns or objections, and providing crucial support throughout the sales cycle.
• Furthermore, you will act as a vital conduit between the field and our internal teams. By collaborating with our product and engineering departments, you will provide valuable feedback derived from partner and customer interactions, ensuring that 1Password's products continuously evolve to meet the dynamic needs of the AWS partner ecosystem and the broader market.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with AWS services in a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar technical role, with a preference for experience in cybersecurity or cloud computing.
• 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on applications and infrastructures, with a deep understanding of AWS services, architectures, and best practices, including security-focused AWS services.
• Hands-on experience with identity standards (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2, OIDC) and modern security principles (Zero Trust, MFA, passwordless technologies), coupled with expertise in designing solutions with IAM platforms (Okta, Active Directory, Entra ID, AWS Cognito) for single sign-on services.
• Demonstrated experience in developing high-quality technical artifacts, reference architectures, and white papers for diverse audiences, alongside a deep understanding of cybersecurity concepts, protocols, and industry standards.
• Comprehensive understanding of scalable cloud infrastructure principles and in-depth knowledge of generative AI solutions like Amazon Bedrock and Anthropic.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the proven ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Competitive salary range ($165,000 - $239,000 USD for US-based roles, $156,000 - $226,000 CAD for Canada-based roles) and commission eligibility.
