- • Principal Specialist, Global Trade role at RTX responsible for owning and supporting export/import licensing and compliance activities for a varied portfolio of programs within the Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit.
- • Day-to-day duties include preparing and submitting export/import license applications, providing authorization status updates, interpreting ITAR and EAR regulations, facilitating approvals for controlled goods transfers, conducting compliance assessments, developing training materials, and acting as a resource for entry-level personnel.
- • RTX is a defense and aerospace company with over 100 years of experience, dedicated to helping nations defend freedoms and deter aggression through engineering expertise and mission-driven innovation.
- • The role offers opportunities to deepen expertise in U.S. trade laws, develop risk mitigation strategies, master export documentation best practices, and lead cross-functional collaboration in a large Global Trade organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • University degree or equivalent experience with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience.
- • Proven experience researching and applying ITAR and EAR regulations.
- • Hands-on experience applying for, managing, and transacting against ITAR and EAR export authorizations.
- • Familiarity with global trade systems such as DECCS, SNAP-R, SAP-GT, or OCR EASE.
- • U.S. citizenship required to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
