- • Work alongside sales teams to visit customers and provide technical support that drives filter sales opportunities in the semiconductor industry.
- • Gather technical Voice of Customer (VoC) feedback on filtration, separation, and purification needs to inform Customer Innovation Process (CIP) and New Product Development (NPD).
- • Conduct technical seminars and product demonstrations for customers to educate them on Pall’s filtration, separation, and purification technologies.
- • Identify, investigate, and resolve customer technical issues related to filter performance, including leading root cause analysis of product failures and quality complaints.
- • Perform detailed analysis of customer-submitted samples, design test plans, interpret results, and deliver clear technical reports to customers with actionable conclusions.
- • Collaborate with global Technical Specialist teams to share insights, align on complex technical challenges, and drive consistent solutions across regions.
- • Provide direct feedback to R&D teams based on field observations and customer feedback to influence product improvements and innovation.
- • Feed customer requirements and technical pain points to Marketing and Product teams to shape future product offerings and market strategies.
- • Lead cross-functional efforts with Quality Assurance (QA) and other internal teams to address customer product performance issues and implement corrective actions.
- • Maintain technical expertise in semiconductor manufacturing processes, particularly Wet Etch and Lithography, to effectively support customer applications.
- • Travel approximately 60% of the time, including overnight trips of 1–2 days per week, primarily within Japan to support customer sites and technical engagements.
- • Serve as the primary technical bridge between Pall Corporation and semiconductor customers, translating customer needs into actionable technical solutions.
- • Represent Pall’s Danaher Business System principles by applying continuous improvement methodologies to solve customer problems efficiently and sustainably.
- • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with key technical stakeholders across global semiconductor fabs, material suppliers, and OEMs.
- • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively in both Japanese (native level) and English to diverse internal and external audiences.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry
- • Minimum five years of technical experience in the semiconductor industry (fab, material supplier, or OEM) with expertise in advanced Wet Etch and Lithography processes
- • Native-level Japanese proficiency and working proficiency in English
- • Proven ability to lead root cause analysis and solve complex technical problems using logical, data-driven approaches
- • Strong report writing and communication skills
- • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including overnight trips within Japan
