📋 Description
- • As a Private Credit — Expert AI Trainer at Mentis Technology Solutions Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of AI-driven financial decision-making by translating your deep private credit expertise into high-quality training data for advanced AI models. Your insights will directly influence how artificial intelligence understands and replicates the nuanced judgment of seasoned credit professionals in underwriting, structuring, and monitoring middle-market loans.
- • Day to day, you will: collaborate with AI researchers and data scientists to design realistic credit scenarios based on real-world deal structures; review and annotate loan agreements, financial models, and credit memos to label key risk factors and decision points; provide expert feedback on AI-generated underwriting outputs to improve accuracy and contextual relevance; participate in asynchronous workshops to refine training datasets that reflect sponsor-backed and non-sponsored lending across first lien, unitranche, second lien, and mezzanine facilities; contribute to the development of AI tools that assist in covenant analysis, collateral valuation, and amendment/waiver processes; and help validate model performance against industry benchmarks and historical deal outcomes.

🎯 Requirements
- • 3–8 years of private credit or direct lending experience at a BDC, direct lending platform, or credit fund (e.g., Ares Capital, Golub Capital, HPS Investment Partners, Blue Owl Capital, Apollo, Oaktree)
- • Strong credit underwriting skills including financial modeling, covenant analysis, collateral assessment, and credit memo writing
- • Experience structuring first lien, unitranche, second lien, or mezzanine facilities for sponsor-backed or non-sponsored borrowers
