  • • As the Process Lead for Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Automation at Deel, you will play a pivotal role in transforming financial operations for a global SaaS leader processing over $11.2 billion in annual payments across 100+ currencies. This role is critical to ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and compliance in Deel’s high-growth, internationally distributed finance function, directly supporting the company’s mission to enable seamless global work.
  • • You will lead the end-to-end redesign of AR and billing workflows, driving automation-first strategies that reduce manual effort, improve cash flow predictability, and enhance customer experience through faster, more accurate invoicing and payment reconciliation.
  • • Day to day, you will analyze current AR, billing, and credit control processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation using RPA, workflow tools, and system integrations; design and implement optimized workflows in partnership with Engineering and Product teams; define, track, and report on KPIs such as days sales outstanding (DSO), reconciliation accuracy, dispute resolution rates, and cash allocation timeliness.
  • • You will partner with BI and Finance teams to build dashboards and reporting mechanisms that provide real-time visibility into AR performance; establish and maintain SOPs and internal controls to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and mitigate operational risk; lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of new processes and technologies across cross-functional teams including Finance, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
  • • You will provide data-led insights and strategic recommendations to finance leadership on automation roadmaps, resource allocation, and process scalability; mentor and guide junior team members in process improvement methodologies; stay current on emerging fintech and automation technologies to continuously improve Deel’s financial infrastructure.
  • • You will join a high-impact finance team within Deel’s global operations organization, which supports a workforce of 7,000+ employees across 100+ countries and is instrumental in maintaining the financial integrity of a $17.3B-valued company with over $1B in ARR.
  • • The team operates with a strong culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration, leveraging Deel’s own platform to manage global payroll and compliance while building best-in-class financial processes.
  • • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in financial automation, global AR operations, and scaling finance functions in high-growth tech environments; you will gain visibility into senior finance leadership and have the opportunity to influence strategic decisions that impact Deel’s financial efficiency and global scalability.
  • • You will build a track record of leading complex, technology-enabled process transformations — a skill set highly valued in modern finance and operations leadership — positioning you as a key driver of Deel’s continued growth and a sought-after expert in global financial operations.

  • • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Finance, Operations, or Process Improvement, with significant exposure to Accounts Receivable, Billing, and Credit Control.
  • • Proven expertise in designing and implementing process automation (RPA, workflow, system integration) within a complex financial or technology-driven environment.
  • • Exceptional analytical skills with experience managing KPIs, tracking performance, and using data to drive operational decisions.
  • • Strong leadership, influencing, and cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly working with technical teams (Product, BI, Engineering).
  • • Demonstrated ability to manage operational controls, compliance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • • Experience in a fast-paced, international, or high-growth tech environment is highly desirable.
