đź“‹ Description
- • As a Product Analyst at Scentbird Inc., you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our digital products by leveraging a deep quantitative understanding of user behavior. You will be the bridge between raw data and actionable insights, transforming complex digital footprints, survey results, and experimental outcomes into clear strategies that enhance user engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction.
- • This role is a bi-directional driver. On one hand, you will translate business objectives into precise data requests, build robust dashboards, and generate insightful reports. On the other hand, you will proactively explore our vast datasets to uncover hidden trends, identify opportunities, and champion data-driven decision-making across the product lifecycle.
- • A core responsibility will be your active participation in A/B testing. You will support both the pre-test and post-test phases, ensuring that experiments are meticulously designed for statistical validity, closely monitored for any anomalies, and that results are rigorously analyzed to inform product iterations and strategic pivots.
- • You will champion a 'data-as-a-service' approach for the Product team, making data not just accessible but also easily understandable and directly applicable to their daily decision-making processes. This involves defining key metrics, structuring reports for maximum clarity and visual appeal, and automating reporting workflows within our BI system, Looker.
- • Measuring the impact of new and existing product features is paramount. You will be responsible for quantifying how these changes affect our critical business metrics, such as conversion rates, active subscription numbers, customer lifetime value, and other vital indicators of product health and growth.
- • The ability to perform ad hoc analysis is crucial. When unexpected patterns emerge in the data – a sudden spike in usage or a dip in conversions – you will be tasked with diving deep to uncover the root causes. Your reports and research will go beyond mere numbers, translating findings into concrete, actionable recommendations (e.g., 'to increase X, we need to implement Y').
- • In close collaboration with our data engineering team, you will contribute to optimizing data workflows, ensuring data consistency, and maintaining data coverage across various domains and IT solutions like Looker and Snowflake.
- • You will be a key player in understanding the 'why' behind user actions, identifying pain points, and highlighting areas of delight. This involves analyzing user journeys, segmenting user bases, and understanding the nuances of user interaction with our platform.
- • Your insights will directly influence product roadmaps, feature prioritization, and growth strategies. You will be expected to present your findings to stakeholders at various levels, effectively communicating complex analytical results in a clear and concise manner.
- • This role requires a blend of technical prowess and business acumen. You need to understand the broader business context and how your analytical work contributes to Scentbird's overall mission and success.
- • You will be encouraged to experiment with new analytical techniques and tools, staying abreast of the latest developments in product analytics and data science to continuously enhance our capabilities.
- • The ideal candidate is not just a data cruncher but a strategic thinker, a problem-solver, and an effective communicator who can translate data into compelling narratives that drive business outcomes.
- • You will contribute to a culture of data-informed decision-making, empowering teams across the organization to leverage data effectively.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to impact a rapidly growing e-commerce subscription service in the beauty and fragrance industry, working with a dynamic and innovative team.
- • Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the customer experience and driving the strategic direction of Scentbird's product offerings.
- • You will be a key voice in product strategy discussions, bringing a data-backed perspective to every conversation.
- • The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- • You will be part of a company that values creativity, innovation, and a passion for understanding and serving its customers.
