đź“‹ Description
- • Join Tide, a rapidly growing fintech company revolutionizing the small business banking market, as a Product Analyst (MEM) based in Hyderabad, India. Tide is on a mission to help Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) save time and money by providing a comprehensive suite of business accounts, banking services, and connected administrative solutions, including invoicing and accounting.
- • With over 1.8 million members globally and a significant presence in India, Tide is leveraging advanced technology and data-driven decisions to empower SMEs. As the company expands into new markets and continuously innovates, we are seeking passionate and driven individuals to join our dynamic team.
- • The Member Engagement (MEM) Team operates as a crucial horizontal, cross-functional function dedicated to enhancing Personalisation and Platform Product Connectivity. As Tide evolves into a holistic Business Management Platform, the MEM team is at the forefront of connecting diverse products (banking, payments, lending, accounting, etc.), driving intelligent personalization across user journeys, and optimizing activation, engagement, and revenue through rigorous experimentation.
- • This role is pivotal in ensuring a cohesive platform experience rather than siloed feature optimization. You will partner closely with Product, Growth, Engineering, Design, and Leadership teams, leveraging data to shape product direction and drive significant impact.
- • As a Product Analyst within the MEM team, you will act as a key thought partner to Product Managers, influencing product strategy through rigorous experimentation, structured problem-solving, and deep behavioral insights. You will tackle complex, platform-level challenges aimed at enhancing the user experience and driving business growth.
- • Your responsibilities will include improving onboarding conversion and activation rates, driving cross-product adoption to ensure members leverage the full suite of Tide's offerings, optimizing the effectiveness of personalization strategies, and connecting leading indicators to long-term revenue and Lifetime Value (LTV).
- • This role demands strong ownership, a high degree of independence, and the ability to navigate and thrive in ambiguous environments, transforming complex challenges into actionable analytical strategies.
- • You will conduct in-depth, hypothesis-driven analyses of existing product data to pinpoint user pain points, quantify the impact of these issues, and propose data-backed, actionable solutions. This involves deep dives into user behavior and product usage patterns to identify areas for improvement.
- • You will lead hypothesis-driven exploration initiatives, collaborating with product and business teams to uncover new product opportunities. Your role will involve validating these opportunities through robust data analysis, ensuring that new product development is aligned with market needs and user demands.
- • A significant part of your role will be leading product experimentation efforts. This includes designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests and other experiments to build confidence in new features and product changes. You will serve as the go-to expert for product experiments, ensuring that the data generated is meaningful and directly guides strategic decision-making.
- • You will collaborate closely with product teams to establish and meticulously measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that accurately reflect the impact of new features and product initiatives. Your analyses will be critical in ensuring that product developments effectively address real user problems and lead to increased adoption and engagement.
- • You will play a vital role in translating high-level business and conversion goals into concrete, measurable business KPIs. This involves identifying the specific impact hypotheses that will drive product success and working with Analytics Engineers to ensure seamless KPI reporting through intuitive and accessible dashboards.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle, from initial discovery and ideation through experimentation, iteration, and performance review. Deep expertise in A/B testing methodologies and causal inference techniques is essential for driving impactful product decisions.
- • You will be instrumental in connecting product and commercial metrics such as LTV, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), conversion rates, retention, churn, and incremental revenue. Crucially, you will demonstrate the ability to link onboarding and growth strategies directly to overall business outcomes, providing a clear line of sight from user actions to business impact.
- • You will partner closely with Product Managers, influencing roadmap decisions by framing hypotheses, quantifying opportunities, and building impact models that clearly articulate the potential value of proposed initiatives.
- • Your ability to translate stakeholder goals, regardless of their seniority, into clear analytical frameworks and measurable KPIs will be key to your success. This ensures alignment and clear communication across different teams and levels of the organization.
- • We are looking for someone comfortable leading and solving ambiguous, loosely defined problems, independently structuring them into actionable analytical approaches. Your proactive nature and ability to define problems will be highly valued.
- • Excellent communication and storytelling skills are required to translate complex analyses into clear, concise, and decision-driving insights for a diverse range of business stakeholders. You should be adept at presenting findings in a way that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- • As a self-starter with a strong ownership mindset, you will proactively identify growth levers and drive initiatives forward without constant direction. Your initiative and drive will be critical in a fast-paced environment.
- • You will build trusted cross-functional relationships and champion a data-driven decision-making culture across Product, Growth, and Leadership teams. Strong commercial judgment is essential, enabling you to balance the rigor of experimentation with the need for business velocity and strategic prioritization.
- • Tide is committed to fostering a flexible workplace that supports both in-person and remote work. Our 'Working Out of Office' (WOO) policy allows colleagues to work remotely within their assigned Indian state and offers the flexibility to work from a different country or Indian state for up to 90 days a year. We believe in the power of face-to-face interactions to foster team spirit and collaboration, with our offices serving as hubs for innovation and team-building.
