Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • Join Tide, a rapidly growing fintech company revolutionizing the small business banking market, as a Product Analyst within the Member Engagement (MEM) Team. This is a pivotal role where you will act as a strategic thought partner to Product Managers, driving product direction through rigorous experimentation, structured problem-solving, and deep behavioral insights.
- • The MEM Team operates as a horizontal, cross-functional function focused on Personalisation and Platform Product Connectivity. As Tide evolves into a comprehensive Business Management Platform, this team is instrumental in connecting various products (banking, payments, lending, accounting, etc.), driving intelligent personalization across user journeys, and improving activation, engagement, and revenue through data-driven experimentation. Your work will ensure cohesive platform experiences rather than siloed feature optimization, making this a high-impact role.
- • In this role, you will tackle complex, platform-level challenges. This includes optimizing onboarding conversion and activation rates, driving cross-product adoption to enhance user value, evaluating the effectiveness of personalization strategies, and connecting leading indicators to long-term revenue and Lifetime Value (LTV). The expectation is for strong ownership, high independence, and the ability to navigate ambiguity with confidence.
- • Your responsibilities will span the entire product lifecycle. You will conduct hypothesis-driven deep dives into existing product data to identify user pain points, quantify their impact, and propose actionable solutions for product optimization. This involves a proactive approach to understanding user behavior and translating those insights into tangible product improvements.
- • You will also lead product discovery and opportunity sourcing efforts. By working closely with product and business teams, you will help uncover new product opportunities and validate them through robust data analysis, ensuring that Tide's offerings remain innovative and aligned with market needs.
- • A core part of your role will be leading product experimentation. You will be the go-to expert for designing, implementing, and analyzing A/B tests and other experiments to build confidence in product features before full-scale investment. This ensures that data meaningfully guides decision-making and minimizes risk.
- • You will collaborate closely with product teams to establish and measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that accurately reflect the impact of new features and product initiatives. Your analyses will be crucial in ensuring that product developments effectively solve real user problems and drive increased adoption and engagement.
- • Furthermore, you will translate business goals into measurable KPIs. Working with Product Managers, you will translate conversion and revenue goals into actionable business KPIs, identifying the impact hypotheses that will drive product success. You'll also partner with Analytics Engineers to ensure seamless KPI reporting through intuitive dashboards, making data accessible and actionable across teams.
- • Tide is a global fintech company with over 1.8 million members across the UK, India, Germany, and France, dedicated to helping SMEs save time and money. Launched in 2017, Tide offers business accounts, banking services, and a suite of administrative solutions from invoicing to accounting, all powered by advanced technology. With offices in London, Sofia, Hyderabad, Delhi, Berlin, and Belgrade, Tide employs over 2,000 'Tideans' globally and is rapidly expanding. We are committed to empowering small businesses and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- • This role is based in Bengaluru, India, and offers a flexible working environment, including the ability to work remotely within your assigned Indian state and from other countries for up to 90 days a year. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, innovation, and a data-driven approach to product development.
- • As a Product Analyst at Tide, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the product strategy and user experience of a leading fintech platform. You will work with cutting-edge technology, collaborate with talented individuals, and contribute to the mission of empowering small businesses worldwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience in Product Analytics, ideally within digital, SaaS, or Fintech environments, with clear ownership of experimentation and product impact.
- • Advanced proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Python (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) for experimentation analysis and data manipulation.
- • Strong understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and ideation through experimentation, iteration, and performance review with deep expertise in A/B testing and causal inference.
- • Experience partnering closely with Product Managers, influencing roadmap decisions through hypothesis framing, opportunity sizing, and impact modelling.
- • Ability to translate stakeholder goals across varying seniority levels into clear analytical frameworks and measurable KPIs.
- • Comfortably leading and solving ambiguous, loosely defined problems, independently structuring them into actionable analytical approaches.
