đź“‹ Description
- • As the inaugural Product Analytics Team Lead for FundraiseUp's Core team, you will be instrumental in shaping and scaling the company's product analytics capabilities. This is a unique opportunity to build a foundational analytics platform that serves as the central hub for data-driven decision-making across all product teams, rather than being tied to a single product.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to define the mission, strategic direction, and roadmap for the core analytics function. This involves establishing best practices, methodologies, and standards that will be adopted company-wide, ensuring consistency and accuracy in how we measure and understand product performance.
- • You will be tasked with building and scaling the analytics team from the ground up. This includes actively participating in the hiring process to attract top talent, mentoring and developing junior analysts, effectively planning and distributing workloads, and ensuring the team operates at peak efficiency.
- • A significant part of your role will involve hands-on analytical work. You will personally tackle complex analytical challenges, conduct in-depth research, and generate actionable insights that drive product strategy and growth across various user journeys and product lines.
- • You will design and develop robust, shared analytical frameworks, such as comprehensive metrics trees, that provide a standardized way to track and interpret key performance indicators across the organization. This will ensure a unified understanding of what success looks like.
- • You will own the development and maintenance of company-level Business Intelligence (BI) dashboards. This encompasses defining the data architecture, ensuring data quality and integrity, and establishing a unified language for key metrics that all teams can understand and utilize.
- • A crucial aspect of your leadership will be establishing and refining collaboration processes. You will act as the bridge between the core analytics team, individual product teams, and other analysts within the company, fostering a culture of data sharing and cross-functional partnership.
- • Your work will directly impact the strategic direction of FundraiseUp, influencing product development, marketing efforts, and overall business growth by providing critical insights into user behavior, product adoption, and market trends.
- • You will be responsible for identifying key opportunities for product improvement and growth by analyzing user data, A/B test results, and other relevant metrics. This involves translating complex data into clear, concise recommendations for product managers and engineers.
- • You will champion a data-informed culture throughout the organization, educating stakeholders on the value of analytics and empowering them to leverage data in their daily work.
- • The role requires a deep understanding of the entire product development lifecycle and how analytics can be integrated at each stage, from ideation and feature development to post-launch analysis and iteration.
- • You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure data is accurately captured, stored, and accessible for analysis, potentially contributing to data modeling and schema design.
- • You will stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in product analytics, continuously seeking ways to innovate and improve our analytical capabilities.
- • Given that our primary client base and business stakeholders are in the US, you will need to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally, to ensure seamless collaboration across different time zones and cultures.
- • This role offers the chance to make a significant impact on a rapidly growing, globally recognized platform that empowers non-profit organizations worldwide. You will be at the forefront of defining how data shapes the future of fundraising technology.
- • You will have the autonomy to define the analytical tools, processes, and methodologies that best suit FundraiseUp's needs, fostering an environment of innovation and continuous improvement within your team and the wider organization.
- • Your leadership will be critical in translating raw data into strategic insights that drive tangible business outcomes and enhance the user experience for millions of donors and thousands of non-profits globally.
- • You will be a key player in ensuring FundraiseUp maintains its position as a leader in the nonprofit technology space by providing the analytical foundation for informed product decisions and strategic planning.
- • The role demands a proactive approach to identifying analytical needs and opportunities, often before they are explicitly requested by stakeholders.
- • You will be instrumental in building a scalable and sustainable analytics infrastructure that can support FundraiseUp's ambitious growth plans.
- • Your ability to translate business questions into analytical problems and deliver clear, actionable answers will be paramount to your success and the success of the teams you support.
- • You will contribute to a culture of experimentation by designing and analyzing A/B tests and other experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize product features.
- • You will be responsible for defining and tracking North Star metrics and other critical KPIs that align with FundraiseUp's overall business objectives.
- • You will foster a collaborative environment where data is seen as a shared asset, encouraging knowledge sharing and best practice dissemination across all teams.
- • Your leadership will guide the team in uncovering hidden patterns and trends in user behavior that can lead to breakthrough product innovations and strategic advantages.
- • You will ensure that all analytical outputs are not only accurate but also easily understandable and actionable for a diverse range of stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership.
- • This role is a unique opportunity to build and lead a high-impact analytics function within a mission-driven company that is making a real difference in the world.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- • Strong foundation in mathematical statistics and probability theory.
- • Advanced proficiency in SQL and a solid understanding of analytical data warehouse architecture.
- • Strong Python skills, including experience with libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, and scikit-learn.
- • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Metabase.
- • Experience designing data marts and analytical models.
- • Clear written English for documentation and cross-team communication (equivalent to B2 level or higher).
🏖️ Benefits
- • 31 days of paid time off per year.
- • 100% paid telemedicine plan for comprehensive healthcare access.
- • Home Office Setup Assistance: financial support for purchasing essential furniture and equipment (office chair, desk, monitor) to create an ergonomic and productive remote workspace.
- • English learning courses to enhance language proficiency.
- • Support for relevant professional education and development opportunities.
- • Reimbursement for gym or swimming pool memberships.
- • Access to co-working spaces for an alternative work environment.
- • Fully remote working arrangement within Spain.
