📋 Description

• • Own the full product-design lifecycle for WorkOS’s developer-centric identity and authorization platform, from zero-to-one greenfield initiatives to iterative refinements of high-traffic surfaces used by thousands of engineering teams at companies like OpenAI, Perplexity, and Vercel.
• • Translate complex enterprise requirements into clear, high-density interfaces that feel effortless to technical users—balancing power-user efficiency with onboarding clarity and accessibility across screen readers, keyboard navigation, and color-blind-safe palettes.
• • Run continuous discovery: interview customers, mine support tickets, analyze usage data, and synthesize findings into actionable insights that shape roadmap priorities and reusable design patterns.
• • Contribute directly to WorkDS, our open-source design system built on Radix, by adding new components, refining tokens, and documenting guidelines so every designer and engineer can ship faster and more consistently.
• • Partner daily with product managers and engineers in short, feedback-rich cycles—pairing in Figma, reviewing PRs, and occasionally jumping into React/TypeScript to polish micro-interactions or fix layout bugs before they reach production.
• • Leverage AI across your workflow—generating exploratory mocks, summarizing research sessions, and automating repetitive tasks—so you can spend more time on strategic problem-solving and less on pixel pushing.
• • Champion accessibility and inclusive design, ensuring WCAG 2.2 AA compliance is baked into components, flows, and content, and mentoring teammates on best practices.
• • Ship publicly and transparently: publish changelog posts, share design rationales in Slack, and present at internal demos to keep the entire company aligned on what’s launching and why it matters.
• • Evolve our visual language as WorkOS expands from authentication into broader enterprise-readiness surfaces, ensuring brand cohesion across marketing sites, docs, dashboards, and CLI outputs.
• • Measure impact through both qualitative delight and quantitative metrics—time-to-integration, task-success rates, and NPS—then iterate rapidly based on real-world usage.
