📋 Description

• • As a Product Designer at Neara, you will help create thoughtful, high-impact product experiences by combining strong UX craft with sharp product thinking to solve complex problems in practical, elegant ways, directly contributing to the company’s mission of building resilient energy infrastructure through AI-powered digital twins of electricity grids.
• • You will lead end-to-end design work from discovery to delivery, conduct and synthesize user research, translate complex technical requirements into intuitive interfaces, collaborate closely with product managers and engineers, evolve the Nitro Design System, and present designs to stakeholders while advocating for user-centered solutions.
• • Neara is a mission-driven team of engineers and scientists using advanced machine learning and physics-based simulation to create digital twins of power grids across four continents, enabling utilities to stress-test infrastructure against extreme weather and optimize investments for a more resilient energy future.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in designing for complex, data-rich B2B SaaS platforms, grow your influence in shaping product strategy and design maturity, and gain hands-on experience contributing to a scalable design system while working on globally impactful problems at the intersection of AI, engineering, and sustainability.
