- • As a Product Designer at Homebase Labs Inc., you will design intuitive and impactful experiences for the Hiring product, helping small business owners trust AI-powered candidate matching, streamline job creation, and navigate the review process with confidence—turning uncertainty into clarity.
- • Your day-to-day will involve exploring multiple design directions, prototyping interactions, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to ship and iterate on features, using AI tools to accelerate your workflow, and engaging directly with customers to gather insights that inform your decisions.
- • You’ll join a fast-moving, empathetic team obsessed with building tools that empower small businesses, where ownership, craftsmanship, and learning are valued—supported by senior designers who invest in your growth and encourage early responsibility.
- • In this role, you’ll sharpen your ability to turn ambiguous problems into polished, shipped solutions, deepen your expertise in AI-integrated design, and grow your influence by advocating for user-centered decisions backed by research and rapid experimentation.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2–3 years of product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating strong visual and interaction craft
- • Proficiency in using AI tools (e.g., Claude, Figma Make, v0) as an active part of your design workflow—not just familiarity, but consistent application
- • Ability to take ambiguous problems through to shipped solutions, showing initiative and independence in driving work forward
