- • Build polished, end-to-end product experiences for developers using Resend’s email platform, focusing on clarity, trust, and usability.
- • Translate complex technical concepts—such as email deliverability, webhooks, DNS, and API behavior—into simple, intuitive user interfaces and workflows.
- • Own features from initial product thinking and UX design through implementation, instrumentation, launch, and iterative improvement.
- • Collaborate directly with design, engineering, and customer success teams to deeply understand user pain points and deliver high-quality, user-centered solutions.
- • Design and implement debugging and observability tools that help users trace the status of emails, webhooks, domains, and API requests in real time.
- • Work primarily with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern web technologies to develop scalable, performant, and accessible frontend experiences.
- • Engage directly with users to gather feedback, identify unmet needs, and translate customer insights into actionable product improvements.
- • Raise the standard for product craft across Resend by prioritizing performance, accessibility, reliability, and attention to interaction details.
- • Contribute to product infrastructure, including APIs, databases, and server-side logic, demonstrating comfort working across the full technical stack.
- • Embrace ambiguous problems and proactively define clear paths to shipping solutions with a "default to action" mindset.
- • Operate with low ego, actively seeking input from designers, engineers, and customer success specialists to improve outcomes.
- • Maintain a strong focus on developer experience, ensuring every product interaction feels seamless, predictable, and empowering for technical users.
- • Participate in occasional team offsites, conferences, and meetups, requiring travel to in-person events as needed.
- • Contribute to a culture of honesty, ownership, and high craftsmanship in a fully remote, globally distributed team of 45.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years of experience building and shipping high-quality web products
- • Fluency in writing and speaking English
- • Strong experience with TypeScript, React, and modern frontend development
- • Comfort working across the stack, including APIs, databases, server-side logic, and product infrastructure
- • Deep care for UX, interaction details, and product polish
- • Ability to turn ambiguous customer problems into clear, shippable solutions
