- • Product Engineer at Scrunch Pty Ltd is a high-ownership role focused on building and shipping product end-to-end, where engineers, product managers, or technical designers help define what gets built, how it works, and why it matters—directly contributing to Scrunch’s mission of helping brands thrive in an AI-first future by shaping how products are discovered on LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini.
- • Day to day, you will own features from idea to production across frontend and backend, ship quickly without sacrificing quality, translate product ideas into shipped experiences by learning new tools as needed, build reusable components and workflows that create team leverage, use AI tools like Claude, Codex, and Cursor to accelerate development and debug faster, iterate based on feedback to continuously improve shipped work, and contribute to scalable architecture by making pragmatic, maintainable design decisions.
- • You’ll join a venture-backed startup with $26M in funding from top-tier investors including Mayfield Fund and Homebrew, serving over 500 paying brands such as Lenovo, Skims, and Clerk, where your work directly impacts how marketing teams adapt to the shift from traditional web search to AI-powered discovery—a transformation described as the biggest change to marketing since the internet.
- • In this role, you will develop deep product ownership skills, learn to balance speed with long-term system health, gain hands-on experience shaping product direction through technical execution, and become proficient in leveraging AI-assisted development tools to increase individual and team leverage—positioning you at the forefront of modern product engineering in the AI era.
