📋 Description
- • As a Product Engineer at Mia Labs, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing the $1.2T automotive industry by building scalable, AI-powered communication systems that transform how dealerships interact with customers.
- • Day to day, you will design and maintain scalable backend systems using Python, build frontend features with TypeScript and React, improve voice pipeline performance, implement real-time speech-to-text and text-to-speech systems, contribute to multi-channel messaging (SMS, email, voice), lead architecture refactoring projects, apply software best practices including testing and CI/CD, and mentor team members.
- • You will join an investor-backed startup trusted by major dealership groups, working on Mia — an AI agent that turns every customer inquiry into an opportunity by delivering human-like automation at scale.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in scalable system design, AI-integrated communication technologies, and full-stack development while contributing directly to product strategy and mentoring peers in a fast-growing, mission-driven environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Python fundamentals
- • Experience with frontend development using TypeScript and React
- • Proven ability to lead large-scale refactoring or architecture migration projects
- • Experience deploying applications in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) using Docker
- • Strong communication and ownership; comfortable working directly with senior cross-functional stakeholders
- • Use AI to code — Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent
