- • Your responsibilities will extend to the practical implementation of generative and agentic AI technologies. You will be instrumental in augmenting and automating core development workflows, making our processes more efficient and intelligent. Furthermore, you will engage in programming enhancements for the ServiceNow portal, focusing on functional improvements without requiring administrative oversight. This allows for a deep dive into the technical aspects of enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
- • Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with diverse technical teams and business partners spread across multiple geographies. Your contributions will be vital in feature design, ensuring seamless integration through rigorous testing, and driving continuous improvement initiatives for the internally built tools that empower our operational teams.
- • As a hands-on engineer, you will be entrusted with evaluating proposed software changes, proactively resolving issues and removing blockers that impede progress. You will actively support feature planning, ensuring that development aligns with strategic goals. A strong emphasis will be placed on delivering high-quality solutions through systematic testing methodologies and meticulous functional design.
- • You will also play a role in configuring vendor software where necessary, ensuring it integrates smoothly with our existing systems. Acting as a subject-matter resource across multiple business areas, you will share your expertise and guide others, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and technical excellence.
- • Key responsibilities include leveraging your knowledge of integrated requirements to thoroughly evaluate proposed software products, ensuring they meet our stringent standards and business needs. You will assist in gathering detailed training and user documentation requirements, contributing to comprehensive support materials.
- • You will manage the issues and blockers for assigned features and product stories, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption. Supporting the planning, conducting, and reviewing of module and integration testing for all but the most complex projects will be a core part of your duties, ensuring the robustness and reliability of our software.
- • Organizing, leading, and finalizing feature review sessions for low to moderately complex business issues and requirements, and meticulously documenting resulting decisions, will be crucial for informed product development.
- • You will assist with overall product planning by contributing to and creating user stories for low to moderately complex features within your areas of responsibility, ensuring a clear roadmap for development.
- • Configuring vendor software and reviewing/verifying the operation of new vendor release features will be part of your remit. You will leverage vendor defect resolution procedures and support tools to efficiently resolve issues.
- • Creating functional designs, utilizing basic technical skills, to address low to moderate complex business processes or issues, or to meet the requirements of a single or multiple set of product features, will be a key output of your work.
- • In partnership with business groups and technical teams, you will provide essential knowledge and support for resolving technology issues across more than one business area, often serving as a subject matter expert.
- • Implementing generative and agentic AI capabilities to automate and optimize development workflows will be a significant focus, driving efficiency and innovation.
- • Building and supporting features for the ServiceNow portal, specifically enabling incident and infrastructure management without administrative duties, will be a core functional area of your contribution.
