📋 Description

• Build product surfaces end to end: own the entire lifecycle from customer insight and idea formation to prototyping, shipping, measuring, and iterating on production features without handoffs.
• Prototype rapidly using AI-assisted and LLM-powered tooling, treating each prototype as a testable hypothesis and deploying it to real users within days—not weeks.
• Spend consistent, dedicated time with customers (estimators, parts managers, accountants, suppliers) in their actual work environments to observe pain points, workflows, and unmet needs.
• Reconcile qualitative customer observations with quantitative usage data; act decisively when signals conflict to inform the next build.
• Own product outcomes through defined metrics: track adoption, value delivered, and user engagement; make priority calls and justify decisions—including when to say no.
• Design and evolve agentic experiences where users express intent and supervise AI-driven actions, gradually earning trust through transparent, stepwise automation rather than full autonomy.
• Maintain high product craft: insist on interfaces that feel effortless, clear, and considered for time-pressured, non-technical users in high-stakes, fragmented workflows.
• Balance product impact against engineering effort to identify and execute the most efficient path to value, often choosing simpler, cheaper solutions that deliver the same outcome.
• Write production-quality full-stack code with a frontend focus; contribute directly to the codebase, not just specifications or designs.
• Collaborate with software engineers on underlying systems, contributing beyond your surface to shared components, tooling, and product standards as the team scales.
• Operate autonomously in ambiguity: define problems, shape requirements, and drive initiatives without waiting for detailed specs or top-down direction.
• Instrument features to capture real-world usage, read the signals yourself, and iterate based on observed behavior—not assumptions or secondary reports.
• Push back on features or designs that feel technically functional but lack intuitive polish or user trust, even under pressure to ship.
• Contribute to the broader product culture: elevate craft, mentor peers, and help define what excellent product building looks like at Partly as the team grows.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience shipping software end to end, including writing production code and owning product outcomes.
• Proven track record of spending consistent time with users in their work context and using those insights to drive product decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to design and ship AI-assisted or agent-driven features where humans remain in the loop.
• Strong full-stack engineering skills with a frontend lean and production-grade coding ability.
• Fluency in weighing product impact against engineering effort to find cost-efficient solutions.
• Experience operating autonomously in ambiguous environments and shaping problems rather than waiting for specs.
