- • As a Product Lead for Core Platform & AI at Collective Technologies, Inc., you will architect the foundational infrastructure that unifies the member experience across all vertical products, including task systems, dashboards, messaging, and UI components, ensuring consistency and scalability.
- • You will define and enforce the System of Record for tasks and communications that all product teams (Payroll, Accounting, Tax, etc.) must adopt, creating a low-noise, coherent experience for self-employed members.
- • You will design and implement the AI integration layer that proactively guides members, deflects support tickets, and reduces friction by embedding AI into core workflows from the ground up.
- • You will establish technical standards for task schemas, notification logic, lifecycle states, and component contracts, enabling vertical teams to build efficiently without fragmenting the user experience.
- • You will partner with Internal Tools and Operations to build human-in-the-loop workflows with visibility, automation, and tooling, moving toward AI-driven resolution where appropriate.
- • You will drive strategic tradeoffs between platform integrity, team velocity, and business priorities, using data on adoption, completion rates, and AI deflection to inform decisions.
- • You will lead cross-functional alignment across product, engineering, design, and operations to ensure the platform is built, adopted, and continuously improved.
- • You will operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where you are defining a new function from scratch, reporting directly to the CEO and shaping the technical and product foundation of the company.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of product management or technical experience with ownership of platform, infrastructure, or horizontal systems that other teams build upon
- • Proven experience shipping AI-powered products where AI is embedded in core workflows, ideally with hands-on work in LLMs, agentic systems, or AI support layers
- • Strong first-principles thinking and ability to define vision, strategy, and roadmap from scratch in ambiguous, evolving environments
- • Demonstrated ability to build cross-functional credibility and enforce platform standards without damaging peer relationships
- • Data fluency to measure platform health, diagnose system adoption, and make prioritization decisions independently
