- • The Product Management (Technical) Lead Consultant at Allstate contributes to defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle of one or more products in the company’s growing digital product portfolio, playing a key role in shaping solutions that protect families and their belongings.
- • Day to day, the role involves authoring, testing, and accepting user stories; defining and managing product metrics; contributing to product strategy; using customer feedback and market analysis to inform decisions; creating and prioritizing backlogs; managing the product backlog; representing the voice of the customer; and engaging in discovery and test-and-learn activities to validate assumptions.
- • The role sits within Allstate’s product management team, which drives innovation in areas such as telematics, device and identity protection, and pricing sophistication, supporting the company’s 90+ year mission of advancing customer safety and protection.
- • In this role, the individual will develop expertise in product discovery, roadmapping, backlog management, and stakeholder alignment while gaining experience in data-informed decision-making and go-to-market strategy execution for digital insurance products.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5 or more years of experience in product management or a related field
- • Experience with Agile methodologies, product backlog management, and product roadmapping
- • Skills in business case analysis, systems thinking, and defining product vision and strategy
